Message from Patrick Koness, President
"I've been in retail for over 30 years, much of which as a buyer and Director of Store Planning. My experience with Heartland has been one with a high degree of customer service and outstanding quality. Great group of folks."
Born in a small woodshop in 1996, Heartland Woodcraft was a key supplier of laminate base decks and shelving to a national department store chain. We've grown by leaps and bounds since then, offering a much broader array of capabilities. We are in a 105,000 square foot facility in West Bend, WI, Just north of Milwaukee. The name Heartland Woodcraft is intended to connote the values of work ethic, honesty, and quality. Something our customers have grown to appreciate.
Once materials hit the shop floor, our machining capabilities take over.
Production flow starts when you say, "hey, I've got an idea I need you to price out." Once a price is agreed upon, we begin the development process. Engineering always involves value engineering. How can we do this better, cheaper, faster, without disrupting the design, function, or integrity? Parts are programmed, cut, assembled, and finished, all with quality reviews along each step.
Fulfillment, Follow up, Fun
Now that the product is complete, there are several options...ideally, we ship it to you. Often times, however, we have stocking programs with customers whereby we keep a regularly rotating inventory on the shelf. Either way, we have the warehousing and distribution space and know-how.
Finally, we enjoy spending time on the receiving end, your store. It's here where we can better evaluate packing methods, installation concerns, and end use considerations. We'll give it the 'ol white glove.
